Gold Dark Chocolate Almond Jewels

Almond Jewels have just the right ratio of almond to chocolate. All the others that I have tried were Not good for various reasons. usually way too much poor quality chocolate smothering not enough almond. Almond Jewels got it right. Thank you for really good chocolate almonds.

Sampled these for favors at my daughter's upcoming wedding.
These are really beautiful, but lack the wonderful crisp outer crunch that I adore in the chocolate covered jordan almonds. If you are going for the look, go for it! But if you insist on the crunchy exterior, these are not the ones.

I read the reviews and ordered about four lbs of these to fill a decorative dish at the guest book table of my wedding. I wasn't doing the now-popular candy buffet, so I wanted one pretty candy that would look elegant in the dish. When I got these, I was at first disappointed by their look in the bag, thinking they weren't very shiny; but in the jar they took on a nice gleam in the light. The taste was quite good, better than a jordan almond. Good dark chocolate, a nice crunch and not that sicky-sweet candy coating. Did have people trying to peel them, as others have mentioned. Overall, very pretty and tasty.
