Dark Chocolate Covered Peanuts

Delicious chocolate on the outside... Then you hit the sugar crisp layer!! Fabulous! And the peanut--- delicious!

I like the dark chocolaste peanuts but, they deed to look like just milk chocolate and so not taste like dark chocolate, I know this because, I buy them at Krogers sometimes and they are very good.

These are very good and tasty chocolate covered peanuts. Very addictive.

Although I thought these were very good, I will probably order fewer of them in the future. I am trying to go low-carb, and the type of dark chocoloate on these peanuts is quite sugary. I try to go for the low-sugar bittersweet chocolate when I eat chocolate.

That being said, unless you are trying to limit sugar, these are great chocolate covered peanuts.

I adore chocolate covered almonds and had been buying them from the local grocery store where the quality was inconsistent and the price high. So I went on a mission to find a bulk supplier.

I tried several popular mail-order suppliers. The Oh Nuts product is among the least expensive since they offer free shipping for the quantities I tend to order (10 lbs).

These are the freshest choco-almonds I tried. I also noticed that they almonds have a slightly different taste and feel than any other I had tried. I'm not sure but I think I've got it figured out: there seems to be a thin layer of carmellized honey (or something) between the nut and chocolate. It is slightly crispy so it adds snap to the bite and just the right bit of extra sweetness. I absolutely love em!
