Of course this is perishable….it is made from NUTS!! Nuts are perishable due to their oil content. Store in fridge or freezer if you don’t plan on using right away or if you live in a hot climate.
Also, “nut meat” IS ground nuts or nuts that are pounded/chopped extremely fine. This product is one type of “nut meat” used/made by our mothers, grandmothers, and great grandmas.

I've recently started a lower carb lifestyle. I used this flour to make a low carb biscuit recipe I found on Pinterest. It's so finely ground I honestly would not have believed it was almond flour had I not made the recipe myself. The biscuits turned out deliciously. My co-worker said they were better than regular biscuits!
I was unable to find almond flour in any of the stores in our city and was very glad to find it here when I was ordering candy for a shower. The cake recipe called for almond flour and I used regular flour since I had been unable to locate almond flour anywhere around here. When I finally did locate the flour on this site, I ordered it.
